一、总则

上海音乐学院国际数字音乐节是一个旨在推动文化创新和数字内容产业进步的重要平台。音乐节深入贯彻落实党的二十大精神,积极响应国家数字中国战略以数字中国建设助力中国式现代化通过加强校企合作与校联动,音乐节不仅促进了数字音乐的全球化交流与发展,还致力于培育新一代的数字音乐创作人才为推动数字文化产业的繁荣贡献力量。

2024第三届上海音乐学院国际数字音乐节将于20247月正式启动。音创杯全球游戏音乐作曲大赛也将开启新一轮的角逐。我们期待这场汇聚全球智慧与才华的盛会,共同推进游戏音乐的艺术性和多样性,为游戏行业的未来注入新的活力和灵感它将引领我们走向更加精彩纷呈的数字音乐时代。欢迎全球的音乐创作者加入这场充满创新精神的盛会,共同开启游戏音乐创作的新篇章。

三、“音创杯”全球游戏音乐作曲大赛

 1.评选办法

1参赛者分为院校组和职业组两组,每位参赛者只能选择其中一组进行投稿其中,院校组参赛者需为18周岁以上的在读学生,包括大专、本科、硕士研究生、博士研究生

2分两阶段进行:初赛为自由投稿,主要考察参赛者创作能力,以专业评委评审方式选出23位决赛入围参赛者(职业组6位,院校17);决赛为命题创作,主要考察参赛者游戏音乐创作与创新能力。获奖作品将以现场音乐会的方式呈现。

2) 为保证活动的公平公正,参赛作品将统一编号进行匿名评选。

  2.征集要求

初赛 

1) 参赛要求

  1. 本活动不收取报名费;

  2. 参赛者须年满18周岁(200611日前出生),无国籍和职业限制

  3. 往届初赛投稿作品不得再次投稿。  

2) 作品内容

  1. 题材不限、风格不限,包括但不限于:游戏配乐游戏CG动画配乐、游戏人物主题音乐、游戏场景音乐等以游戏为主题音乐的应用性音乐(包括歌曲)创作动漫配乐短视频配乐影视视频配乐

  2. 初赛投稿作品必须是参赛者本人的原创作品(无论该作品是否已发表)

  3. 每人限提交1部作品。作品时长3-5分钟。音频文件格式须为48kHz16-Bit,立体声,WAV文件;单个视频文件最大不超过500MBMP4MOVH.264编码)文件。

*参赛者需要注意:若提交的作品文件不满足前述要求的,视为无效参赛作品,不参与评审。

3) 作品形式

配乐视频作品或纯音频作品。
*
音乐部分是考评核心。参赛者可提交视频、图片、文字等作为解释音乐创作构思的补充性材料,在此之外,参赛者若能提供下列任意材料以说明所提交音乐作品的游戏交互设计,初赛评审也将会引为参考:

- 不同情境、状态对应的音乐段落;

- 不同音乐段落之间的非线性衔接过渡;

- 使用游戏音频中间件构建的互动示例。

4) 报名所需材料

  1. 一部符合技术规格要求的配乐视频作品或纯音频作品;

  2. 一张完整、清晰、有效的身份证或护照扫描件

  3. 院校组需要额外提供学生证或者其他学生身份证明(录取通知书、应届毕业证书等);职业组需要提供职业履历和已发表作品的公开有效音视频链接(如QQ音乐、网易云、B站、Itunes等等均可)

  4. 原创声明与本人身份真实性声明。

7) 注意事项

  1. 参赛作品中不得出现本人姓名等个人信息。

  2. 不符合以上活动条款者将取消参与评审资格(主办方、评委会成员不得有作品参与评审)。

  3. 如出现原创性纠纷,后果由参赛者自行承担,大赛有权撤回奖项及奖金、奖品。


决赛 

1)入围人数及要求

通过专家评审方式,从初赛中选出23(职业组6位,院校组17位)入围参赛者参与决赛。

*如遇选中的决赛入围者弃权的,则相应减少入围与获奖名额。

2)决赛入围名单公布时间

20249上旬

3)参赛形式

入围参赛者须根据主办方指定的命题内容完成游戏配乐作品,并在指定时间内提交作品小样和乐谱,由评委打分,评出最后名次。

4)需提交材料

详细的作品说明,设计构思,乐谱;

决赛作品的音频分轨文件及工程文件;

初赛作品的混音前分轨文件,不低于8轨。

*出席音乐会暨颁奖仪式的获奖选手需自理差旅、食宿等费用。


六、相关权利

  1. 凡填写并提交报名表者即默认为承认本章程。

  2. 如参赛者不如实填写个人资料,主办方有权取消其参赛资格并收回其所获荣誉。

  3. 决赛中命题作品的著作权属于作者本人。

  4. 获奖者须同意无偿提供并授予主办方如下权利:

  1. 主办方有权对获奖作品的源文件以及任何形式的声像制品作非商业性使用;

  2. 主办方拥有获奖作品的首演权以及演出和出版优先权;

  3. 主办方拥有参赛者活动期间的所有影像权。

  1. 获奖作品无论在何处上演,根据获奖等级,其乐谱封面或音乐会节目单上需注明本次活动的获奖信息,例如:“本作品获得2024第三届上海音乐学院国际数字音乐节音创杯全球游戏音乐作曲大赛职业组三等奖。”


七、免责声明

  1. 主办方有权更改项目时间项目名称及活动形式。

  2. 本章程的解释权归主办方所有。

  3. 本章程发布后如有变动以主办方最新公布的信息为准

As we eagerly anticipate the 2024 Third Shanghai Conservatory of Music International Digital Music Festival, set to dazzle us in July 2024, we also welcome the triumphant return of the Global Game Music Composition Competition. This competition is more than just an event—it's a global gathering of extraordinary talent, a joyous celebration of the artistry and diversity in game music that resonates around the world. III. "YIN CHUANG Cup" Global Game Music Composition Competition

1. Evaluation Method:

1Participants: Competitors are divided into two groups: the Institutional Group and the Professional Group. Each participant can only choose one group for submission.

Participants in the Institutional Group must be students aged 18 and above, including junior college, undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students.

2Stages: The competition consists of two stages. The preliminary round involves open submissions to assess composition abilities, with professional judges selecting 23 finalists (6 from the Professional Group and 17 from the Institutional Group). The final round requires theme-based composition to evaluate creativity and innovation in game music. Winning works will be showcased in a live concert.

(3)  Anonymity: To ensure fairness and impartiality, entries will be anonymized for judging.


2. Submission Requirements:

Preliminary Round:

  1. Participation Requirements:

- No entry fee is required.

- Participants must be at least 18 years old (born before January 1, 2006), with no nationality or occupational restrictions.

- Works submitted in previous preliminary rounds cannot be resubmitted.


  1. Content of Works:

- There are no restrictions on theme or style. This includes but is not limited to game soundtracks, game CG animation music, game character theme music, game scene music, anime soundtracks, short video soundtracks, and film/video soundtracks.

- The work must be the participant's original creation, regardless of whether it has been published.

- Each participant may submit only one work, with a duration of 3-5 minutes. Audio files must be in 48kHz, 16-bit, stereo WAV format. Video files must not exceed 500MB and must be in MP4 or MOV (H.264 encoding) format.

- Note: Submissions not meeting these requirements will be deemed invalid and will not be reviewed.


  1. Forms of Works:

- Submissions can either be music video works or pure audio works. The music component is the core evaluation criterion. Participants may submit supplementary materials such as videos, images, and text to explain their creative concepts. Additionally, the following materials, if provided, will be considered during the preliminary review:

- Different music segments corresponding to various scenarios or states

- Non-linear transitions between different music segments

- Interactive examples built using game audio middleware


  1. Required Submission Materials:

- One music video or pure audio work meeting the technical specifications.

- A complete, clear, and valid scanned copy of the participant's ID card or passport.

-Institutional Group participants must also provide additional student identification,such as a student ID card, admission notice, or recent graduation certificate. Professional Group participants must provide a resume and public links to published works (e.g., QQ Music, NetEase Cloud, Bilibili, iTunes, etc.).

- Statement of Originality and Declaration of Authenticity of Personal Identity.

- Entries must not contain the participant's name or any personal information.

- Participants who do not comply with the competition rules will be disqualified. Organizers and judges are not allowed to participate in the competition.

- Participants are responsible for any disputes regarding originality. The competition reserves the right to revoke awards and prizes in such cases.


Final Round:

  1. Number of Finalists and Requirements:

- 23 finalists (6 from the Professional Group and 17 from the Institutional Group) will be selected from the preliminary round by expert judges.

- If any finalists withdraw, the number of finalists and award recipients will be adjusted accordingly.

- Early September 2024


  1. Competition Format:

- Finalists must create game music based on specified themes provided by the organizers and submit the work within the designated timeframe. Judges will score the submissions to determine the final rankings.


(4) Required Submission Materials:

- Detailed description of the work, design concept, and musical score

- Audio stem files and project files of the final work

- Pre-mixed audio stem files of the preliminary work, with at least 8 tracks


(5) Submission Deadline:

- Early October 2024


IV. Awards and Prizes

Professional Group:

- First Prize: 1 winner, RMB 100,000 and a certificate

- Second Prize: 2 winners, RMB 50,000 and a certificate

- Third Prize: 3 winners, RMB 30,000 and a certificate

Institutional Group:

- First Prize: 1 winner, RMB 20,000 and a certificate

- Second Prize: 3 winners, RMB 12,000 and a certificate

- Third Prize: 5 winners, RMB 7,000 and a certificate

- Excellence Award: 8 winners, RMB 3,000 and a certificate

Other Awards:

- Best Organization Award: 1 winner, certificate

- Excellent Organization Awards: multiple winners, certificates

- Instructor Awards: multiple winners, certificates


*All prize amounts are pre-tax. Winners must pay applicable taxes in accordance with Chinese law, which will be withheld by the organizers.

*The judging panel reserves the right to withhold awards if necessary.

*The decisions of the judging panel are final and cannot be appealed.


V. Award Ceremony and Concert

1. Winners will be invited to attend the award ceremony and concert showcasing the winning works.

2. Date: November 11, 2024

Performance: Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra

*Winners are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.


VI. Related Rights

1. By submitting the registration form, participants agree to the competition's regulations.

2. If participants provide false information, the organizers have the right to disqualify them and revoke any awarded honors.

3. The copyright of the theme-based works in the final round belongs to the authors.

4. Winners must agree to provide and grant the organizers the following rights:

4.1 The right to use the source files and any form of audio-visual products of the winning works for non-commercial purposes.

4.2 The first performance right and priority rights for the performance and publication of the winning works.

4.3 The right to all images of the participants during the event.

5. When performing the winning works, the award level and the competition must be indicated, such as: "This work won the Third Prize in the Professional Group of the 2024 Third Shanghai Conservatory Of Music International Digital Music FestivalYIN CHUANG Cup Global Game Music Composition Competition."
